Doorway to your soul garden - making a clay doorway with Anna Mitchell from Creative Clay

Join us at the threshold of the Celtic New Year, a time of endings and beginnings, when we look inward and dream forward.

Guided by Anna Mitchell, from Creative Clay, you’ll shape a small clay doorway and imbue and decorate it with affirmations and natural textures. These symbolic gateways into your Soul Garden will remind you that you are its guardian, able to keep it safe and cosy through the winter’s fallow time, a season of rest and quiet tending, as you wait to nurture new and continued growth in the year ahead.

All materials are provided, including templates, tools, and stamps. Please bring an apron if you can (a few spares will be available).

Come along to this cosy midwinter workshop. Begin with a warm welcome, festive refreshments and inspirational meditation before getting creative with seasonal materials.

Jemima, from Little Flower Farm, will guide you as you craft a unique and beautiful wreath or table decoration to bring in the light. Take your time, surrounded by the scents of pine and spice and let your creativity flow in the comfortable, heated workshop.

This relaxed, festive event is the perfect way to celebrate the season in the company of others and create some festive, handmade magic. Beginners and seasoned crafters welcome.

It was a very busy morning at the Little Flower Farm in Cradley yesterday. Fourteen of us gathered to create wreaths together in community, and the atmosphere was genuinely lovely. We supported one another, shared advice, and chatted with neighbours, some familiar faces, others people we met for the very first time. Jemima’s expert guidance, beautiful greenery and embellishments, and calm encouragement ensured that everyone created a unique and beautiful wreath. Together, we celebrated the circle of the year as we reached this seasonal turning point. This session marked the end of a fabulous second year of Women’s Rites workshops, and we’re excited to already have another year of thoughtful, creative activities planned for 2026. We held a deeply nourishing morning on Sunday with @annamitchellcreativeclay at the @littleflowerfarmmalvernhills making these wonderful did for our soul gardens. Each one was so unique and a physical manifestation of the doorway to our inner safe spaces. Such a joy to work with the maleable and forgiving medium of clay and create among so many wise women. A fitting way to celebrate the celtic new year, Samhain. Our last workshop of the year is on Sunday 14th December, and we'll be making festive wreaths with Jemima. Be quick as the tickets are almost all gone!

Needle-felting is a mindful, meditative craft, each slight movement of the needle slowly shapes wool into something magical. This Sunday we’ll be using the technique to create autumn pumpkins, each carrying symbols of gratitude and sharing.
